I chopped in some french doors which have left this mess at the foot of the floor here, note i have wedged in some PIR board between in the wall cavity.

I want to fill this void so it's flush with the existing floor screed. Can i just used some self levelling latex or? Do i need a membrane here? TIA. This is a ground floor room.

What’s the actual thickness you need to make up? Slc may crack over the insulation if it’s too thin, but looks quite thick from the pic.
If those bricks are below dpc, then yeah you need a dpc/m. I’ve used blackjack paint for patches like that before

No. The bricks need hoofing out, the trough lining with polythene and then filling with screed.
Pardon my ignorance but i shoved pir board in the cavity gap, so you're saying i 'hoof' out the bricks and pir boar and screed the whole area filling out the cavity too?
