Self taping tape

I have added a self taping valve to a pipe, but it still driping I have tighting it up. But leaks were the hole was made. What can I add or do redtify this ? I have attached a photp

Did it not come with a rubber seal or anything that sits with the body round the pipework?

No it did not, I have checked the package

Self cutting taps always have a shaped black seal that fits round the pipe where the cutter enters the pipe.
You might try a thick soft washer like a tap washer as a stopgap till you get a replacement.

Why not remove it and fit one of these?

All sorted now I replaced it with anothe sel tapping valve with had the rubber and it now stopped leaking. Thanks for all your replies
