Hi, we have architectural drawings and building regs in commencement for a hip to gable with dormer conversion.
My question is, what would the approx building costs be for the main structural build, ie. 2 x steels for the new floor & hip to gable end and the building of the dormer and the new roof work.
Trying to get an idea budget wise to see if we can do the whole lot or just the building works and do the internals later in the year when budget allows.
We are in the East Midlands and it's a 50's semi detached so nice high joist to roof line of 2.7metres, obviously no trusses.
Also, what's the views on standard scaffolding and the whole roof cover scenario?
Many thanks.
