Looking to replace a free standing combined oven/hob with a fan oven (rated 2.1kw) and a Candy hob (rated 7000w)
From what I can tell the fusebox feed to the cooker point is 32a and the hob will draw a shade under 30.5, so I'm hoping it will just be a case of disconnecting the exising cooker and wiring the hob in.
Obviously this leaves no margin for connecting the oven - though from what I've read on here it should be possible to connect the oven via a spare 13a socket via a plug (obviously not the one on the cooker outlet).
However, the oven has non-flexible cable - is it safe to wire this to a plug, or should i get flexible replacement and if so what size/rating do i need to get?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
