I think my machine is probably beyond help now, but i'd decided to post on here anyway before it started smoking!
I have a Servis 1300 washing machine, a couple of days ago the machine refused to spin. The drum turns and does the full wash but just no spin.
A few times you could put the spin cycle on separately and it would work, but now that stopped.
The new bit - yesterday when putting the machine on, the drum filled with smoke and not water! not electrical burning, smelt more like paper or possibly rubber.
should I Dump it? don't have the money for a new one, so I'm a bit hesitant.
