Servis M3010W Washing Mashing - Doesn't Start Cycle

my washing machine is suddenly totally unresponsive today.

after setting the programme dial and turning it on, the on light is lit but no water starts coming in. there is no buzzing or any noise at all and seems to be completely no activity.

it can't be the fuse, as the light on the machine does come on. i doubt the water is blocked (seems a bit unlikely as the machine worked fine a few days ago, and now there is ABSOLUTELY no water at all). maybe the machine thinks that it has finished the cycle or something? it just sits there with the 'on' light illuminated.

any help would be much appreciated

Just this mornig I discovered my Servis M9003 Washer/Drier doing the exact same thing. It worked perfectly the yesterday, but when I came to put another load on this morning, same thing. Light goes on, but cycle doesn't start.

Have you had any luck solving the problem ?
