Servis Quartz A Won\\\'t Start

My machine has just died, the power light comes on, the door looks but then the machine does nothing, weird thing is I fitted some self cutting taps to the pipes, tested the machine and it ran no problem, when I went to use the machine again nothing happened.


Anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

take the pipes off and make sure its getting water

Aye , had that idea after I first posted, water is getting through the pipes fine it appears that the machine is just refusing to accept it

there is an electrically operated solenoid valve that controls the water can you hear it click or buzz when it opens

There is a click when I turn the dial to start the cycle, but i'm guessing thats just the door locking.
