hi, can you help me with this,our washer/dryer.the dryer is not drying the cothes.i have checked the fitter this is ok.the dryer goes through its cycle but does not get warm at all.please help.manny thanks terry

It is likely one of these have blown they are what make the dryer warm. There may be a safety device which will trip if some one does not clean the lint catcher or if the exhaust gets blocked.

As to changing not my thing and I would have to do one to find out how it is done and from past experience when one thing goes unless due to poor maintenance of fluff filter it is not long before some thing else goes so I would only both with a fairly new machine.

i have done a check on the element for the dryer,i put 240 volts to it and it heats up ok.cant find any more elements only that one,i did find somthing next to the element ,i have no idea what it is,but it fits into a rubber bung and has 4 wires on it .any ideas please

that pic of the heater is wrong that is the wash heater ,the dryer heater is on top of the drum .which heater did u test the top 1 or the one down the bottom .
 
i checked the bottem one first working ok, then i took lid off the washer and found the other one,put 240 volts to it not working,suspect this one.£3o.00 to buy.hope this is it thanks to you all TERRY
