Servis Model : M911B (circa 1992 made by whirlpool I think)
Everything works fine except the final spin just tumbles at low speed. (I'm not sure about intermediate spin during rinse).
Whilst testing and fiddling, it has worked twice.
In its early life it blew three motor control modules but has been fine for about ten years.
Having read through many posts, motor brushes sound like a possibility - but this makes no sense to me since the motor still operates at low speed. Since it has worked a couple of times, I'm thinking it's something mechanical like the timer, but the motor control module still seems likely.
Slow spin also fails on another part of the dial.
I've waggled and generally checked for loose connections.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
