Setting Breeze blocks - deck supports

Can anyone recommend the best material to set breeze blocks onto ground whilst levelling for garden decking. Was planning to use slab-fix to level and then post-fix around the block up to ground level to concrete in.

Is this appropriate

If it was me I would use engineer bricks with dpc.
