Hi,

I'm installing a roof using Cambrian's. It's a mono pitch roof so I need to measure out how many rows, but as they're interlocking, I can't alter the headlap measurements. If I get to the top course against the wall, am I able to drill holes in the slate and batten it if its short?

I suppose I'm trying to say I'm pretty fixed with how much I can set the slates out to finish near a whole slate.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks J

You have a possibility of adjusting gauge (40 mm) variation .
Of course subject to roof pitch .
It's ok to cut and drill the top course need be

OK great, as its a shallow pitch (around 17°) there's a minimum headlap. I will double check and see if it works out. Thanks again.

I would advise against those tiles, but if you are going to use them your abutment flashing will cover your top course and fixings.
