I live just a few hundred yards from the local water works and our mains pressue is really high and all my plumbing, hot and cold water is on mains pressue.
I get severe water hammer on everything from the washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen taps, electric shower, bath taps, basin taps and toilet flush.
I live on the 1st floor of a masionette and the main feed comes up through my bedroom into the loft and across the loft where the combi-bolier is and then down into the kitchen and bathrooms.
I've pinned everything down within 2m between clips, still no difference.
I've tried turning the water flow down, but the hammer persists until the water pressure is then far to low.
The main feed in is the imperial equivalent of 15mm copper piping.
The hot water comes via the mains and the combi-bolier and the cold via the same mains.
Any ideas?
