Microwave part of the appliance blew the 8.0 amp fuse inside and checked out the HT cap which was leaking badly, this in turn had cooked the HT transformer so when only half the mains voltage was applied with a variac it started to cook nicely at 10.0amps checking the HT voltage with a HT probe. Magnetron ok and changed capacitor.
Now I need a replacement transformer (unit spec 900 W) RTRN-A016URE1 but can only find a RTRN-A018URE0 S/H transformer on eBay but that unit came from a Sharp R-254 (800 W) microwave oven.
Does anybody now what the power spec is for these Korean HT transformers are and if the RTRN-A018URE0 would supply enough power without frying up? Difficult to locate any data on these transformers.
