Hi,
I have about half a tonne of sharp sand left over from a job I have done, and i have a section 2.5m Wide, 7m long and 9cm Deep which needs to be made level, to turf on to.
I was going to fill the whole area and depth with top soil, but i am wondering whether i can fill as much of the area up to a depth of say 3cm with sharp sand, which will leave 6cm left for top soil.
Would this still provide good ground conditions for the turf? Basically i want to try and make some use for the sharp sand.
Thanks
