hi, looking to build a shed, it will be on some 3x2 slabs.

but I am considering using some new treated scaffold planks for the floor instead of t&g as It won't cost me a lot more, and they will be a bit thicker, would these be a better choice? or would the gaps be a problem?

also would put these on some treated 2x2 to keep them of the ground?

sound good or any other advice appreciated :)

cheers

The professionally built shed in my Mum's garden sits on 4x4 treated bearers that were put straight on the flat lawn. The shed was treated already, but was rapidly given another coat of preservative as the guys built it

That was in 1980 and it is still in great condition.

Dunno if that helps.

scaffold boards for a floor - that'll last ages;)
