I am moving my hand and power tools into the garden shed. I recognise that I will need to ensure that moisture is kept to a minimum throughout the year to prevent the tools from rusting.
I will install vents at a high level in the gable ends and propose insulating the walls and roof with 40mm Steico Flex Wood Fibre Insulation Batts. The insulation batts will be placed between the wall and roof framing and left uncovered. As I do not intend to line the shed leaving the insulation on show is there a need for a moisture barrier and/or to leave a 1inch air gap between the outer wall and the insulation?
Thanks

I just use those moisture traps you get for a quid in my shed , never had rust issues and I've stored them in there for years
