So he did. Where is it leaking from?
The ridge caused pooling that spilled into the joint. Are you quite with us? The OP is asking. You are supposed to help.
He said nothing of the sort, he says it's leaking and the felt is kinked, are the two linked? Maybe maybe not, where is it leaking inside the shed?
I very much doubt if it is possible to smooth that out without it cracking and causing a worse situation. I cannot understand how it got like that in the first place but I know that there are all kinds of DIY idiots out there. Nuff said, having receently had to sort a similar problem on my shed, I would recommend tearing it all off then get some fresh felt from Wickes together with a tin of adhesive (black stuff) and redo it. NB don't use nails except at the edges or you will soon get another set of leaks.

maybe thats where 2 sheets of ply abut? might fix itself when humidity drops

It's me the OP ! The ridge/ripple caused pooling and trapped debris and moss. I cleared the moss etc and it's a bit better but still leaks. The leak is all along near the ridge but also appears further down at the next joint. I think the water seeps along under the felt. I will try fixing when the weather's warmer and the felt a bit softer. Take out the nails and try flattening the felt and use some bitumen. The other side of the shed is fine - no rippling. The shed roof is T&G pressure treated so should hold up ok.

I would suggest just putting a single-strip, along the full length of the ridge/
