Hi I did my shed roof yesterday but got a bit carried away with bitumen glue over the nails used to fix the felt to the roof as you can see...

My thinking was to smother the overlap with glue and the bit on the top to make it all weatherproof as possible but regret doing this as the glue looks a bit naff now

will the shine on it fade and blend in over time or am i better off re dojng?

Thanks

Yeah. You just need the glue underneath out of sight. Water won't run uphill.
All you can do is put another layer of felt over or probably better to leave it as is

Damn, so annoying - every time I look at it now it bothers me! Obviously would of painted the rest of the shed to spruce up a bit

Perhaps I could get some white spirit and brush onto the bitumen to try and clear some of it off...
