SHOCKABILITY ?

any body know what the shockability factor is on chrimbo lights, :confused: [ not ones that go round trees, but windows. ] about 150 small bulbs, flash diffrent time and has got a control box then a lead whitch plugs in to socket ? :)

not sure what you mean?
 
I assume you mean should they go wrong (you might be the lecky bill)Well its 240v max, depends on what part you touch, as to what you ouch you give.

Assuming that you mean a set of mains lights, and that this light consists of a number of series chains of lights, in parallel with each other, then the normal operating voltage across each light will be 230v divided by the number of bulbs in that chain (how many lights go out if you take a bulb out).

If, as I think you mean, you take one of the bulbs out and then replace it with a person, then given the respective resistances of the lightbulbs and the person, then they would probably get near to a full 230v across them, which ain't good.

Are you planning a little 'accident' ??
