Should I be able to see daylight through the roof? (Moved)

Hello, we're in the process of purchasing a home and noticed day light coming through. Wandered if this was normal or something we should be worried about? It would be appreciated if anyone has any guidance/advice.

the pics are too bad to see, but it looks like clay tiles with maybe lime mortar holding them in place

is it a very old house

The last pic might mean a loose or broken tile
