should i glue my laminate?

hello,

i ahve bought the v groove clip together laminate and am about to do under the door. i ahve removed the jambs but i cannot get the boards to clip and slide under. i have read that i should remove the groove and glue.
Is this the best or only alternative?

dont remove the groove but the locking edge from the tongue. Then glue!
