i am sick and tired of seeing gas appliances installed without any regard to the legality of the install and safety


i was called to a gas leak to which i fixed within 1 hour total cost to the customer £60

more mooching with the detector under the boards than parts used so fair price was given


but as i was packing up to leave ( after having condemed the gas hob within 5 mins of looking for a leak ) this blokes walks in

mr handy man with a new hob ?? i was gobsmacked this bloke starts to take the cap end off i have just put on an houir ago and gas is pouring out

oh he says its live thats good

i was gone by the time he fitted the hob but he wasnt corgi so what to do eh as i am seeing too much of this now

if i report it i am in the frame as i was there ? wtf would you do

told me i would get a call the next day did i get one no


sent in an anonymous call now so see what happens

If it is unsafe, it is unsafe, and the nationality or ethnic origin of the person(s) who did it is irrelevant.

If it was illegally done by a non-CORGI fitter then it was illegally done, and the nationality or ethnic origin of the person(s) who did it is irrelevant.

If you are accused of being racist for making such a complaint, then you only have people like yourself to blame Slogger, for a history of decades of bogus complaints which were racially motivated.

slogger, i know where you are coming from. working in a house, house next door being renovated four polish guys £15 a day each no cert's or f all. building, gas, electric's etc. where are we going how can we compete. this £15 is way over what they could ever earn at home(poland)
