After getting this particular room skimmed there was a lot of cracks appeared (previously had crack damage from tree roots) was agreed to remove any loose plaster and fill, then plaster the whole room for a better finish rather than just filling the cracks.
However after the cracks appeared the plaster has come back and filled like this and said they will be ready for sanding tomorrow… meaning I have to sand it.
My question is I’ve paid £3k for 5 rooms and 1 ceiling to be skimmed and now I’m left with 2 of the rooms like this… is this an acceptable way of leaving a job?

Dustless sand that and good to paint but you won't have the equipment to do that.
No. That's not acceptable. Should be ready to paint all be it with the odd bit of sanding and filling as always something.
I also don't think that filling will work.
Plaster mesh used? 1m wide by 100m long plastering mesh is good to set in the plaster but with settlement cracks knock off plaster and metal laths fixed to bricks and plaster over.

He used a criss cross tape on the original cracks, but the cracks have come back in different places, he said it’s just settlement… of the 5 rooms done I feel this one has been rushed, as I moved out for 2 weeks for them to be able to get on and he only come 6 days due to sickness etc but I was moving back in so feel like he rushed it.
