Should you install LVT straight over these floorboards....

Should LVT be installed straight onto these floorboards, with underlay, or should a plywood layer be fitted first?

It needs a plywood layer. Any features in the floor surface under the LVT will end up showing through.

it Needs 6 or 9mm Ply, Featheredge or microcoat, and then fit the LVT (Assuming its a stick down LVT you are considering).
