Shower and CH problem

Hi Guys

I have a friend who has a problem with his shower. It's a pumped ch and gravity dhw, he has a thermostatic shower running off a pump but when the central heating is on the shower runs cool, with ch off the shower is fine.

It's a large 5 bed house with a small'ish hw cylinder, any ideas please?

Does the heating been on only effect the shower?
Is the power supply to the showerpump coming off the heating wiring, if so is the pump getting full mains power when heating is on?
