Hi. All

I have a mira flight shower base, the plumber I hired raised the shower tray by building it of wood.

I asked him at the time if I needed the riser kit and he said no, long story short I now need a shower panel for the base but mira have said I need to buy the riser kit as they don't sell the front panel separately.

It's an 800x800 quadrant tray, and the he right from the floor to the top of the tray is around 12cm, is it right I have to buy a specific panel or is there a chance of buying one that would fit that wouldn't cost £60

Cheers

Thanks

It's 12cm from floor to the top of the shoes tray, if that makes any sense?
I weren't sure if all the riser panels are more or less interchangeable or not really

Thanks

What he said ^ (y)

uPVC cladding or cloaking. I use it all the time in these circumstances. Trim it to length and leave it out in the sun for an hour or so (or carefully apply heat in another manner) so it softens up and becomes more pliable.

I silicone them in place with weights to hold it in position until silicone cures. No need for polytops. :D

You're plumber did it kinda right IMO. Better up on a wooden plinth than on silly legs. I would have topped it with an 18mm piece of WBP ply though. He should have also ensured there was a panel to fit too.

Don't understand some plumbers these days, if you start a job then finish it FFS.

Sorry, I should have said, you want the size to the bottom of the tray, If it's 100mm or less then I would be surprised if most quadrant panels wouldn't fit.
