My shower base wate trap had to be replaced as the plastic rim had broken off on the top piece which screws into the trap under the shower base and water started leaking onto ceiling.
But when i got a replacement i found the threads on these plastic fittings were not very accurate in size, they were all 1 1/2" fitings but some of them were so tight they would not screw into the original trap under the base and another i tried it was so slack i could not tighten as the thread kept jumping (obviously i dont want to go to the trouble of having to renew the whole trap as i would have to remove shower base etc etc,
Have you found the same problem ???
