I've not seen an answer to this as such so here goes....
I've just fitted a normal thermostatic shower mixer. It is the only fixture in the bathroom which is not connected with Cu (or stainless for the radiator) pipework as I used plastic where the H&C are chased into the wall. This means that it's not bonded but it's also isolated as far as I see it? Should I run an earth cable from the pipes up to it before the tiles go on or am I safe enough?
All the pipes are bonded outside the bathroom to the immersion cpc and the bathroom light cpc as well as hot/cold pipe cross bonding under the sink (which is purely for show ) and a bond to the cast soil stack
