Shower Cable Length

Can anyone tell me the maximum cable length of 6mm cable permitted for wiring a shower please?

depends on how big your shower is.

the more current a shower draws the shorter the cable run (within reason) this is due to voltage drop, so if you had a shower cable 1 mile long (i know you wouldn't) by the tme you get to the other end only the on light may work due to the voltage drop.

why not put in a 10mm cable as it will save you grief when yo decide (as you will) that your present shower is "not enough"
