I have just had a new single door shower cubicle fitted. There is a flexible (ish) seal on the edge of the fixed glass that the door slides over when closed. The lip of the flexible seal is angled so that the door slides smoothly over it as it shuts. However, when the door is opened it causes the lip to flip over to the direction the door is moving and this causes the glass to bend a little and also releases with a thump when the door clears the seal. It is also causing the seal to come away from the glass in places. The seal can be pushed back on but shouldn't need to be done regularly surely. Is this right?
