shower drain size query

In the UK is there a universal size? I want to replace the drain in my shower with a new chrome drain that is 85mm in diameter but am concerned about the flange width.

Help!!

No there’s not. Usually the pipe connection is universal 40mm or 50mm. Photos are usually a good help, or the make and model of the tray.
