Hi guys,

I'm planning a tiled shower floor and am currently pondering over what type of drain/waste to use.

The types of waste I have seen (such as the McAlpine waste on screwfix) seem to suit shower trays more than tiled floors as trays have a chamfer and then the waste hole that allows the waste to sit flush with the majority of the floor. Could I still use one of these but set it into the tile adhesive so it is flush and then tile around it?

Alternatively if anyone have any suggestions/recommendations I'd be very grateful.

Yup I agree Nige F!!

I work for an M & E contractor though so can purchase through company and get a decent discount ;)

Thanks for the advice though Strachan, I like the look of the square one (as I'm assuming it will be easier to tile to) :D
