Hi everyone
I'm just about to strip all the tiles in my bathroom so while I'm at it I need some advice on my extractor fan.
At the moment I have a small 4" one from a DIY shed but I still have a room full of steam after a shower and it's causing damp on the ceiling and the grouting is going black (fully tiled at the moment)
So what I am looking at doing is installing a more powerful fan in the same ducting if that's possible or maybe even using a kitchen fan as these have a far better extraction rate?
Has anyone any thoughts on this as I need something much better than I have now .
It's an old cottage so the walls are cold to the touch so therefore more condensation .
The fan is not over the bath/ shower
Any help please.
