The wall of the bathroom has a vertical rail to hold the showerhead at a suitable height. Chrome plated brass, and the bit at the end that holds the showerhead handle has pulled free,
There is a small chromed screw in there that seems to be stuck, threatening to strip the philips/pozi cross when I put force on it. Any suggestions to free it up?
I have taken it off the wall, and have the pieces free to turn over and get better access to.
Inner nylon sleeve has been removed, the knob that makes the slider stay put at required height is off. I think there is only metal involved, but until I actually get it apart that might be a false assumption.

Sorted, it was a hidden grub screw holding it tight. It seems there was a welded in washer at the back of the bit that came loose, unwelded by one of the family...
I need to buy a replacement rail soon.
