I want to put a shower tray in the bathroom, ideally I wanted 1300x1000, the standard size seems to be 1200x900 so I thought I would tile down one side and the end between the tiled wall and the tray and have the glass type screens on the the other two sides.
My problem is how to construct it to fit the tiles, I've toyed with the idea of a sand & cement screed and tile directly on top of it, the tray is about 50mm thick or build it up with OSB board topped off with Hardibacker then tile on top of this.
Do I use silicon or shower type grout to seal the tiles to the tray?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
