Shower for hot tank and main pressure cold water

Hello,

I'm only beginning to understand our heating system and am unsure on which shower to buy. We have a fortic cylinder; (no cold water tank in the loft). We have, I've been told, cold water mains pressure and lower pressure hot water.

Any advice of which type of shower to buy in order to balance the two pressures? Any particular product?

Off the cold mains

A fortic in a flat has particularly weedy pressure, hence flow. I'm thinking a pump but with added pressure regulation.

I'm sure I've seen a sort of turbocharger shower that uses the cold pressure to pump the hot.

Someone is sure to know...

If not, then a power shower drawing cold water from the tank and hot from the cylinder (will need some plumbing and will use up the water pretty fast)

search for a TREVI BOOST this is the shower to use mains cold water to suck the hot from the cylinder. If the mains is above 2 bar you may reqiure an adjustable pressure reducing valve otherwise the coldness of the mains will make all showers too cold

Thanks, have read up on the Trevi Venturi Boost. Sounds good but need to check that I have a 20mm hot going to the shower and the shower head is high enough above the tank. Thanks for the pressure info. Will have to speak to plumber now and give him the bumpf I've downloaded.
