Hi we moved into a new build last December & have a walk in shower which tends to have a small leak near where profile meets wall.
I'll attach photos.
The builder reckons it shouldn't have been sealed on inside to allow water to run back into shower so I've just now taken off silicone where profile meets tray.
Photos show before and after - is it ok to take the silicone off here do you reckon?

It is usual to seal the outside rather than the inside. The "bead" of silicone is a bit big, all round:unsure:

Thanks Nige - yes the original bead (which came away) was smaller & neater however I struggled to get the contractor back out so did it myself (not so neat!).
Do you reckon I'm safe to leave it as it is in last photo without it leaking through wall etc?
