Hi,
My shower is broken, so I'm using the bath. The bath has a mixer and this is what I have problem with.
The mixer is either really hot or cold. It looks nearly identical to the mixer in the shower, apart from the fact that the shower mixer is wall mounted and the bath mixer is tub mounted.
The shower mixer can give a wide range of temperatures. On the bath mixer, the change is very abrupt. It is very hard to get a comfortable temperature.
I would also like to note we use the bath very infrequently, approx once or twice a year.
Is this the same problem like in radiator thermostatic valves where the wax has become stuck? Or is the problem something else?
Thanks,
Richard
