Shower not hot enough

We have recently fitted an arkitect concealed thermostatic shower that runs on the hot water from our combi boiler. However after getting it all in the wall and tiling round we find that the water coming out of the shower is only warm not hot, even if the control is turned as far as it can go to the hot side....can anyone help? do we need to limit the amount of cold going into the mixer becase there's loads of hot water and it doesn't alter if we turn up the boiler water temp
