I'm starting to think I must be spectacularly thick because I can't see how to fit these together, but I can't find any discussion or video about it on the internet.
Every fitting video I can find about shower panels shows them being installed without a shower enclosure, using the nice beveled lower trim/shower seal against the shower tray. But you obviously can't use that shower seal behind the enclosure as it would stop it from butting up against the wall.
On the other hand, if you trim the shower seal so that it only runs inside the enclosure, surely that leaves you with an area of poor sealing right in the bottom corners where there's already a greater risk of leakage anyway? Plus it seems like you'd have to be pretty precise with the measuring at panel fitting time to get the necessary tight fit when you come to install the enclosure.
Can anyone explain how these things work together please? Preferably using ladybird books and sock puppets.
Thanks..
