Hi all - new user to this site but really at a loss.
I have had to remove my old shower enclosure from a tiled corner of our bathroom - in the process of removing the wall posts from the shower enclosure panels from the tiled walls the wall posts became damaged as they had been screwed to the wall with a layer of silicon sealant behind the posts effectively gluing them to the tiles - as I tried to pry them from the tiled wall the posts bent and became unusable.
I expected to be able to purchase new wall posts but cannot find any supplier either locally or on the internet - maybe I'm calling them the wrong thing or maybe you cannot buy spare wall posts for an old shower enclosure!
The shower panels are re-usable but I'd hate to waste them for the sake of 2 pieces of metal and have to purchase a new shower enclosure - there must be a solution somewhere? Help please anyone?
I've enclosed an image of a piece of one of the wall posts - both posts were exactly the same.
Many thanks to anyone who replies.
