I'm adding an en-suite shower. I intend to fit a pump (dual i.e. hot and cold) next to the hot tank (on the same floor level). The pipe runs to the shower will be about 13 metres from the pump.
I'm not after a high flow sort of shower, just a decent traditional sort of performance using a thermostatic mixer valve.
What size pipe will I need to use please? I suspect I wouldn't get away with 15 (be delighted if I can!), but will 22 be OK? I don't want to oversize because of the delay in getting hot through.
Any merits/demerits in using flexible plastic instead of copper?
Thanks for advice
Mike
