I put "shower" in quotation marks because all I have is one of the cheapy abominations pictured below.
Seems like about a month ago, all of a sudden, I couldn't turn the cold tap to where I would usually turn it, if I wanted to actually get some hot water out of the shower head. If I want to actually receive hot water from the shower head then I have to now have the cold tap almost completely off. Which of course results in less pressure overall, and a bit of a miserable shower.
No idea what would cause this to happen. I have a Baxi Solo boiler (serviced a month ago...) in a one bedroom flat. Hot water pressure at the bathroom sink and kitchen sink seem to be normal.
I pointed out the to guy that did the service that a valve in the hot press seems to be rattling. Although this only seems to happen when the central heating is on. It doesn't rattle when hot water is being used in the shower or sinks, so it might be completely irrelevant.
