Shower problem

I've just replaced cartridge for my mira combiforce 415 shower mixer because the shower was running hot then warm back to hot.the taps in the house ok.service engineer says the boiler is ok.I can hear the boiler fire on then off only when the shower is running.shower head is clean and filters are clean.the same is happening with new cartridge and clean filters and shower head.any help or info much appreciated. THANKS
