Hi all,

I want to install a Salamander pump to my hot water system to supply the bath and shower that I have just installed in a bungalow. The hot water tank is in the airing cupboard, so a really low hot water pressure.

I've got two solar panels to heat the hot water only, the hot water cylinder is different to a normal hot water tank, and I don't think the hot water temperature is adjustable.

I was thinking of a hot water only pump, but as a Salamander pump has a maximum operating temperature of 65 degrees, I realise I may have to fit a temperature control valve and a cold water feed.

Also, I would need to fit an Essex valve, my question is: can I fit An Essex valve to this type of hot water tank, if so, where on the tank is the best position for it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
