Hi all,
Don't know if this work or not ,But I wanted to put a pump onto my open hot water system(lack of pressure, but flow is good)so I brought a triton t550i shower pump on the cheap!. :D
Now, I know this is for a shower and it's a twin pump unit, What I was wondering is, can I use this as a "single pump" ie cross over the feeds (outlet to inlet), to give me more pressure on my hot side.
I planned to put the pump next to the hot water cylinder tee'd into the vent pipe.
I have 114ltr cold header and a 175ltr hwc
Any help would be great

How should we know what happens if you abuse things
You might get away with what you want, you might blow the seals on the pump, or something else!.
Sucking from the vent pipe is a recipe for problems cos you get air drawn down the pipe.
