Shower Riser Rail

I never expected that replacing an old shower riser could be challenging. Having purchased a new one and fitted it I discovered that the diameter of my hose is too wide to fit into the sliding holder. My hose has an outside diameter of 20mm and inside of about 12 or 13mm. I dont want to change the hose because I need the larger diameter to get a decent flow, so how do I find a riser which will accommodate the larger diameter hoses.

Buy the same make as the shower.

The valve is quite an old Aqualisa but I have no evidence to indicate that the hose and riser are original Aqualisa parts.
