Shower size/cable query

hi,

I have a 6mm twin and earth cable for a shower with a 35amp fuse. The shower needs replacing. Would it be possible to install a 9.5Kw shower on the existing cable run and change the fuse? Not sure what the old shower size is as there are no markings on there (about 10 years old i think)

any help would be appreciated.

No, 40 amp mcb and 10 mm t&e for a 9.5 kw.

In general, 8.5 is max for 6mm2.
