Hi,

Around September 2012 I noticed that our shower temperature was reducing, over the next few months it got colder and colder so that the hottest it would go could be best described as "luke warm".

This continued until march when it suddenly started to increased again and it has been fine ever since. Until the last couple of weeks when I began to reduce in temperature again.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? faulty thermostat?

Thanks

Craig

If it is what you say, it's a gravity fed shower and the thermostat mixer may have failed. Check your cylinder water temp also. Clean the shower head.

It sounds awful like what an electric shower does as the mains water gets colder through the winter the shower gets colder, as it warms up in the summer so does the shower.
