Shower Thermostatic Cartridge Removal Tool

Please can anyone advise on the tool needed to remove this shower valve?

The make of shower would help if possible, but Di Vapor have a good range of cartridge removal tools.

You may have to make a tool then.
Tube/box spanner with castellations cut into the end.

If you send your pics to the showerdoc they may able to identify the make and advise you from there.

I did try them and Shower Spares, not having much luck

Now that is a bore......if no one can identify it, then a replacement could be a real issue. Wjhat is the problem with them?
It looks like dilalio has the right idea - if you have a suitable old box spanner and an angle grinder you should get somewhere.

I've had to do this a few times before now. Sometimes you can do it by tapping a long screwdriver on the flats, depending on angle of attack!

I did try them and Shower Spares, not having much luck

If they can not help then it would be best to rip it out and fit a bar shower.
